SMS Terms
In short. If you give Dogoboca your mobile number, we may text you about your own visits and requests — nothing else. Texting is optional: every service works without it, and one reply stops the messages.
1. What the program is
The Dogoboca text program covers service messages about your account and bookings: confirmations and changes to a visit, a heads-up when your sitter is on the way, a note when a visit report is ready, and urgent attempts to reach you about a visit in progress — for example, when a sitter cannot get in at the door.
We do not send marketing or promotional texts under these terms, and providing a number is not a condition of buying anything from us.
2. How you opt in
You opt in by giving us your mobile number — in a request form, while booking, or in your account settings — where a note next to the field points to these terms. We keep a record of when and where the number was added.
3. Frequency and rates
Message frequency varies with your bookings: an active week may bring several texts, a quiet month none. Message and data rates may apply — they are set by your carrier, not by us.
4. How to stop
Reply STOP to any message and texting ends; one final message confirms the opt-out. Email and your account keep working as before — stopping texts never affects your bookings. You can also switch texting off by emailing [email protected].
5. Help
Reply HELP to any message, email [email protected], or call . A person reads these, not a bot.
6. Your number stays with us
Mobile numbers and text-messaging consent are never sold and never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The full picture of what we collect and why is in the Privacy Policy.
7. Carriers
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If a message truly matters — an emergency during a visit — we do not rely on texting alone: we call and email too.
